In the wake of a highly successful pilot project in April 2023, we are thrilled to announce our plans to continue making a positive impact. Our team is gearing up for another transformative venture—a second surgical outreach program scheduled for 2024 at the esteemed St. Francis Naggalama Hospital.
This upcoming April, an impassioned team comprising skilled trauma surgeons and dedicated operating room nurses will once again embark on a mission to Uganda. The objective remains clear: to extend vital surgical interventions to those in need, particularly focusing on orthopedic challenges that require the use of costly bone implants.
The heart of our initiative lies in our commitment to addressing the healthcare needs of individuals with significant medical histories, especially those facing economic hardships. Our aim is to alleviate their suffering through skillful surgical interventions, fostering a positive impact on their overall well-being.
However, the success of this outreach program relies on financial support. The bone implants essential for these surgeries come with substantial costs, prompting us to reach out to you for donations to help fund these crucial resources. Notably, our team members cover expenses such as flights, accommodation, and annual leave personally, underscoring our dedication to this philanthropic cause.
